The Nest

About Us

The Nest is a safe, cosy space to bring your children. You can relax, have a cuppa and chat to other parents or simply enjoy a new variety of toys and books for you and your child to play with.  The Nest is open to parents and carers of children aged 0-4 years unless specified.

 

The Nest is a ‘stay and play’ environment and we also run sessions such as music time, sensory room and arty craft.   There is a sheltered all weather play area.  The Nest is an alternative meeting venue where you know that you and your children will be welcome. There is an onsite Baby Sling shop and consultancy service, Baby Signing class, Baby Massage class and much more!

 

Self-service tea, coffee, water, toast and fresh fruit are provided as part of your entry fee.  We run the opposite to a regular coffee shop,  we charge entry rather than for these products so that you can feel comfortable to stay and relax as long as you would like without having to continue to make purchases.  Additionally cold bottled and carton drinks and snacks are available to buy.

 

The Nest is a unique concept in that we have created a baby friendly 'home from home' environment for people to come and relax in.  Parents and carers value the attractive, comfortable and safe environment that has been created for them and their babies.

 

The entry fee is £6.  Also available is a pre-pay card which allows entry to the Nest x 5 for the price of 4 at £24.  You will be issued with a pre-paid card that you present at sign in and is stamped at each visit.
